Jazz Improvisation Program

The Northern Beaches Secondary College (NBSC) provides an exclusive music program specifically designed to cater for gifted and talented musicians, extending and enriching students' understanding of improvisation and jazz music.

The Jazz Improvisation Program is delivered by renowned Australian composer and musician, Colin Bright. The program is delivered after school at NBSC Freshwater Senior Campus.

The program's bands, Offbeat, perform publicly at annual events including Manly Jazz Festival, Vietnam War Veterans Memorial Service, The Brookvale Show and Jazz Club. Other public performances are at College functions and in the local community.
