Term 2 at the Northern Beaches Secondary College was heralded with a full day staff development day at NBSC Freshwater Senior Campus.
The theme for the day was encapsulated in the tag line: The Future is Ours to Create: Staff discovered how to guide student learning through the six C's:
- critical thinking
- collaboration
- communications
- cross cultural understanding
- computers
- career and learning self-reliance.
Visiting presenters and expert teachers kicked off proceedings with ten inspiration stories in the Performance Theatre. This was followed by specialised workshops around the campus.Â
