TAFE NSW opportunities
Students from any of the five campuses may select TAFE NSW delivered courses.
The following courses are offered on line 6.
All courses are taught in a 4 hour block on Tuesday afternoons from 4pm to 6pm.
Board development courses
These are category B courses. Only 2 units of category B courses can count towards an ATAR. These courses are:
- Automotive - vehicle mechanics
- Electrotechnology - career start
- Financial services - accounts administration
- Human services - health services assistance
- Information and digital technologies - digital animation
- Information and digital technologies - network and hardware
- Information and digital technologies - web and software apps
- Tourism and events - events
- Tourism and events - tourism.
Board endorsed courses
These course give you credit towards your HSC, but do not contribute towards an ATAR. These courses are:
- Community services introduction to children's services
- Community services - welfare
- Hair and beauty - retails cosmetics
- Hair and beauty - salon assistant
- Property services (agency)
- Screen - film and TV
- Sport, fitness and recreation.
Life Skills courses are available at Cromer and Freshwater Senior campuses.
